That's a nice safe tune. If you're asking then: I wouldn't |

push the 91 octane boost level past what you have already. The whole idea was to stay safe, right? The sport 500 is efficient up to (about) 21 pounds, but will still make HP after that. I made an additional 12 RWHP turning the boost up from 22 psi to 24 psi. I only ran that high a boost at the dragstrip, ie. for short bursts. I initially tuned the car on 100 octane, running 22 psi and 20 degrees base timing (+2 degrees for the JWT program). That's probably running on the edge, but the turbos and short block lasted 140,000 miles, run fairly hard. I used VP fuel C-12 and ran 24 psi with 24 degrees of advance (dragstrip set up). When talking to the good folks at JWT, they were a bit horrified at the 24 psi, and stated that it is hard on the thrust bearing, going past 22 psi (unlike the 530s which use a ball bearing design). I would imagine 21 psi and 18-20 degrees of initial advance should be safe, with an even more aggressive AFR . Take care, Mark
